Morgan Wallen’s ex-girlfriend, KT Smith, found a new home for her dog, Legend, after the pooch attacked their 2-year-old son, Indigo.

After revealing her son had been rushed to the ER over the weekend, the influencer took to her Instagram Story on Monday to give fans an update on the situation.

“We just dropped Legend off with the sweetest family where he will be living out his full potential and best life on a farm,” she wrote. “I couldn’t have asked for a better family for him to be loved on by.”

Smith noted that, like her, the family lives in East Tennessee, so she and Indigo “can visit [Legend] anytime we need to.”

“thank you guys again, for helping but for also crying with me and lifting me up,” she concluded.

Earlier that day, Smith reassured her Instagram followers that the toddler was going to be “OK” after the attack — but that he might have a small scar from the ordeal.

“Yesterday, he bit Indigo in the face, and [Indigo] had to have stitches, and we spent yesterday morning at the emergency room,” Smith said in her Story.

She then explained that she adopted the rescue dog, a Great Pyrenees, in April 2022.

In fact, she said that she and Legend “kind of saved each other” at the time.

Despite being told to put him down, Smith said she was weighing out all her options.

She said the dog “is not aggressive toward adults at all,” but that “having a kid just really scared him in the home.”
