Luciano is the son of Marta Dora Grostein and Hermes Marcelo Huck. Both of his parents are Jewish. His father was born in São Paulo, Brazil. His mother was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Luciano’s brother is filmmaker Fernando Grostein Andrade.
Luciano is married to Brazilian television presenter Angélica. They have three children.
Luciano’s paternal grandfather was named Abraão/Abrão Huck.
Luciano’s paternal grandmother was Perla Karmona (the daughter of Efraim/Ephraim Ichelebi/Tchelebi/Tchilibi Karmona/Carmona and Rose/Rosa Capua). Perla was listed as “Turkish” on her immigration record, and was of Turkish Jewish background. Tchilibi was the son of Mordechai Carmona and Raquel.
