The first time Jonah Hill and Leonardo DiCaprio teamed up it was a wild success. Wolf of Wall Street is up for an Academy Award for Best Picture this year because of the combined performances of the two actors. It’s probably a smart idea to team up again, yes?
According to Vulture, Jonah and Leo are set to star in an upcoming film about the 1996 Atlanta Olympic bombings. Vulture got the news from Deadline who broke the story that Fox has purchased the rights to ‘The Ballad of Richard Jewell’, a 1997 Vanity Fair article about Richard Jewell went from hero to villain to redeemed.
Hill will play the lead, Richard Jewell. DiCaprio will play his unorthodox lawyer who helped clear his name. There is no date yet for filming to begin, but plain and simple with Hill and DiCaprio in the film it is bound to be a success. Period.
