Jesy Nelson, the talented contralto singer from girl group Little Mix, recently responded to a fans post on Instagram.
A Spanish mixer named Rachel talks about how she fought constantly with bulimia and anorexia before meeting Nelson. After seeing that Nelson herself had insecurities she decided to change and fix her eating habits.
It was then that her obsession with Little Mix began and has fallen in love with the group and their albums stating that they are all amazing,
Nelson then responded later with a beautiful paragraph message; part of it saying:
“You just have to remember that every single person in the world has insecurities no matter how big or small ur never ever alone in that but what makes you special is there’s only one you in the world and you have to embrace that!”

Hey Jesy! Well i dont know if you will meet me, but I´m Raquell i´m going to start with my presentation: My name is Raquel, but in England is Rachel, I am from Spain and I have 18 years old. I live in Madrid (Spanish capital) and my instagram user is JesyNelsonSpain I don’t know if you will read this letter but I will tried it. My English is a little bad and sorry if you can’t understand her. When I was 12 years old I feel ugly, fat… and those things…I never suffered bullying, but I felt that I was ugly and never will love me. I asked to my friends if I was ugly and for sure my friends told me things like “oh c´mon Raquel you are beautiful´´ and I never felt that. I will tried believe them but they were my friends & i was like o c’mon you are my friends, you cant tell me “raquel you are ugly” .One day I stopped eating, I wanted to be like a model. When I thought that my mother knows what happened I ate but then I was going to the bathroom to expel all the food that I ate. My mother brought me to the doctor and the doctor said that I had eating disorders (anorexia and bulimia) and I was very bad …. But one day, I met you and I saw your insecurities and you did me change. I remember that my mother says me “Raquel if you don’t eat, Jesy will be very cross with you !´´ I haven’t words to explain and say you thanks for all! And from that moment I started to hear all time little mix! I started to be obsessed. I participated in mixer magnets and when I saw that little mix didn’t come to Spain Was one of the bad days in this world ever… all Spanish mixers was like…but why Italy and France yes and Spain that is center no? In the other hand my life is better with your music! DNA album WAS AMAZING, Salute album was the best album EVER and Get Weird album I can’t wait for him! I can’t wait for Get Weird Tour (Hopefully in Spain) and I can´t wait to give you a big huge and a lot of kisses. you deserve everything. Jesy and remember that I will be till the end here for you @JesyMix14 @LittleMix -Raquel

Here’s Nelson’s response!
What makes this even more admirable is that she took the time to respond to a fan who literally admires her (and Little Mix in general). Jesy went through a similar stage of insecurity during her time on the X-factor but was able to conquer her fear with the help of her band mates Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall.
Now if only everyone in the world were as grand and kindhearted like Jesy Nelson – it’d be pretty peaceful, wouldn’t you agree? x
