General Hospital Spoilers: Nina’s Real Daughter Has Been There All Along – The Sasha Surprise This Story Needs?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) is ignoring Olivia Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) advice to let it all go, which means she’s now gearing up for another round of battle with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Of course, this news has many GH fans rolling their eyes and groaning in frustration. Are Carly and Nina doomed to just keep striking back at each other? Aren’t they both exhausted by now?

Likewise, shouldn’t Drew be focusing on Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) instead of wasting more precious time with his daughter? It just seems like everyone involved here would be better off leaving this feud in the past.

There’s been more than enough revenge to go around, so plenty of viewers are eager to see a new chapter.

Nina doesn’t want to give up on a relationship with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), but maybe she should. Willow may always be wary of Nina and cast judgment over the things she’s done.

Perhaps Nina should just throw in the towel and focus on a different “daughter” – one who’s been right there all along!

Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) came to town pretending to be Nina’s biological child, but she was eventually exposed as a fraud.

However, Nina forgave Sasha and has supported her through times of great tragedy and turmoil – just like a good mother would do.

Similarly, Sasha has accepted Nina’s flaws and understands her in a way that Willow doesn’t seem capable of. It feels like there’s still a parent-child relationship here that’s built on something close to unconditional love.

In other words, Nina already has a “real” daughter through Sasha since biology doesn’t count for everything!

The show often treats biological relationships like they’re of more importance – like when Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) suddenly started ignoring Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) in favor of building a new bond with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).

That’s unfair since it diminishes the relationship that Trina spent all those years building with Taggert, who loves her just the same and still deserves to be her dad.

As for Nina’s storyline, wouldn’t it be refreshing for her to just surrender when it comes to Willow?

Nina keeps pushing Willow further and further away, so maybe she should just leave Willow alone and concentrate on the “daughter” she still has.

Sasha basically still fits in that daughter role for Nina, so perhaps she should throw all her time and energy into strengthening that connection even more.

If Nina could just rise above all the revenge, she might even prove herself to Willow and convince her to come around.

In the meantime, Nina could embrace her relationship with Sasha and use that to fill the daughter void.

General Hospital spoilers say Nina will fight back against Drew and Carly for now, but let’s hope some story updates are brewing now that the new co-head writing team has been confirmed.
