Brielle is one of the many stars who swear by intermittent fastings. During a 2020 Q&A shared via her Instagram Stories, she revealed her time-restricted eating schedule. "I only eat between 3-8 every day!" she said. "Intermittent fasting is an eating pattern that has set time periods of eating and set periods for not eating (fasting). It is often described as "cycles" of fasting, and has been used as a method for weight loss. There are several different types of intermittent fasting," says the Mayo Clinic.
- "5:2 Method – eat a normal, healthy diet for five days a week and the other two days eat a small meal (about 500 calories per day).
- Alternate day fasting – this involves fasting every other day. On non-fasting days, eat a normal healthy diet.
- Time-restricted eating – only eat during a set time period. For example, you may only eat during an eight-hour period by skipping breakfast, then eating lunch at noon, and supper before 8 p.m."
Brielle also eats what she wants, even fast food "I go to [Chick-fil-A] EVERY DAY (except Sunday) around 3 for my breakfast/lunch," she revealed during the same Q&A. "Every day I have to have a cheeseburger or chicken tenders at some point throughout my day, and if I don't have a little something sweet—whether it's a peanut butter cup, a small brownie or anything chocolate—after dinner, I don't feel like I ate," she added to People in 2017. Unlike her mom, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, she's "not a fan" of salads. "I love to eat, and I eat anything and everything I want, just in moderation."
Brielle is all about fitness. Not only does she works out with a trainer but also takes group classes. "I love spin class," she said. "I'm addicted to it." "Get at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week, or a combination of moderate and vigorous activity. The guidelines suggest that you spread out this exercise during the course of a week. To provide even greater health benefit and to assist with weight loss or maintaining weight loss, at least 300 minutes a week is recommended. But even small amounts of physical activity are helpful. Being active for short periods of time throughout the day can add up to provide health benefit," says the Mayo Clinic.
Brielle encourages healthy goal-setting. "My weight fluctuates a lot so I'm trying really hard to get better at eating right, going to the gym and taking care of myself. I've always been insecure about my body, I [sic] think most women are! Push yourself. Set a goal and work towards it … Thank you to my trainer @abmatthews_fit for pushing me!!" she wrote to her Instagram followers in 2019.
Even when you aren't exercising, maintaining an active lifestyle outdoors a la Brielle is another great way to stay fit. A few of her favorite activities include bike riding, jet skiing, stand up paddle boarding, and horseback riding.
