10. Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev

In 2011, Vampire Diaries co-stars Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev began dating.  Unfortunately, their relationship lasted only two years.  However, between their on-screen chemistry and real life romance, the couple quickly became a favorite amongst fans who felt that the pair looked great together.  Although reports have indicated that Somerhalder and Dobrev have remained friends, most fans would like to see them together again; however, Somerhalder has been in a relationship with Nikki Reed since 2014.

While filming the 2004 film The Notebook, sources reported that co-stars Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling had trouble getting alone on set. However, in mid 2005, then the couple announced that they were dating, they seemed like the perfect match.  Gosling and McAdams quickly became one of the most well-liked and talked about couples in Hollywood and many fans were crushed when they split in 2007.  For years, many hoped that Gosling and McAdams would find their way back together for good.  However, in 2014 Gosling welcomed a child with his now girlfriend, Eva Mendez.

8. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were once one of the most popular celebrity couples in the industry. The former Disney channel stars instantly became the image of success for young stars transitioning into adulthood.  Although the couple split in 2010, rumors have been circulating that Efron still has feelings for his ex-girlfriend.  However, Efron isn’t the only one who misses the days when he and Hudgens were an item.  The public would probably like to see the couple reunite as much as he would.

On screen, Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody  were an unlikely couple.  Their characters on the popular Fox series, The O.C., were high school social circle opposites who were brought together by the perfect combination of luck and fate.  However, Bilson and Brody, who began their real life romance in 2003, quickly became a fan favorite among O.C. viewers.  However, the sun would eventually set for Seth and Summer both on and off-screen, and some fans still haven’t recovered from the loss.

Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder have been broken up for than 20 years; however, their relationship continues to linger in the minds of fans everywhere. Depp may have had his “Winona Forever” tattoo altered, but he can’t alter the past.

5. Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz

During the late 80, Lisa Bonet, who is best-known for her role as Denise Huxtable on the legendary sitcom, The Cosby Show, began dating musician Lenny Kravitz.  When discussing their first meeting, Bonet stated: “It was interesting when we were first finding out about each other, that our backgrounds were so similar. When I first told him my mom was Jewish, and he said ‘So’s my dad,’ I thought that was both unusual and enchanting. I felt like, ‘Okay, here’s someone who really knows how it is.’ And I think I trusted him a little more with my feelings and let him inside a little more than I ordinarily would have.”  Sadly, the couple split in 1993, just five years after the birth of their first and only child together.

When news broke that Kristen Stewart had been unfaithful to Robert Pattinson, fans everywhere were upset and angry.  When the couple ultimately decided to call it quits, fans felt as though it was the end of a dynasty.  Since the break-up, Stewart has caught a lot of flack from fans who are angry with her and her decision.  However, in a perfect world, fans would have liked to see the couple stay together forever.
